Bob is the President of Zaccaria Associates. He has been in the hospitality industry for 28 years and has extensive experience working with design firms and management companies regarding custom seating, case goods and public area furniture. Bob has been involved in restaurant, hotel guestroom and public area projects throughout his career and his company is known for their involvement in custom projects in the United States and worldwide. Zaccaria Associates also represents Tai Ping Carpet, Aqua Carpet, Trend Lighting and Meridian Stone.

Territory: Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware

Carol is with Mimosa Cove Design Resources, which has represented products for the hospitality and health care industry for over ten years. In addition to proudly representing Casillas, Inc. she also specializes in fabrics, trimmings, lighting, artwork, back-lit mirrors and specialty glass products.

Territory: Illinois, Michigan

Dann has been in the hospitality industry since 1997. Prior to creating The Dann Niven Group in 2005, he started up Holly Hunts Contract Textile Division in Chicago, was the Chicago Hospitality Representative for Milliken Carpet, and was also the Regional Director of Sales for Muraspec Wallcovering. Today Dann represents Casillas, Inc. for indoor furniture, but also specializes in lighting, carpet, outdoor furniture and bed accessories.

Erin Kennedy joined Casillas in 2005. She received her Bachelor of Science in Clothing Textiles & Merchandising from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Erin’s career in the hospitality industry started in fine art and fabrics in 1993 and developed into other specialized areas such as providing art for the floor in Axminster carpeting, expanding into custom furniture. She is thrilled to represent the talented artisan craftsmen that proudly create the custom furniture of Casillas, Inc.

Territory: Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma

Brad is originally from Oklahoma City, OK and now lives in San Diego, CA. He joined the Casillas, Inc. team in January 2009. Brad has an extensive background in furniture design and has produced several of his own pieces, which enables him to ensure that each individual piece is carefully inspected to meet each customer’s expectations.

Devon is currently the Systems Administrator for Casillas, Inc. and has been since 2006. He got started in the field at the age of 13, which furthered his interest in computers. After meeting mentor Kevin Gawthorpe in 2004, Devon decided to make computers his career.

Eku received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Woodworking and Joinery Industry in 1979. His professional career has included stints with companies in Iraq, Russia, Kuwait, as well as his native Finland. He joined Casillas, Inc. in 2008 and always strives to produce the highest quality products.

Jheronimo has been with Casillas, Inc. since 2006. He was born into an atmosphere dedicated to creativity and art since his father was a sculptor and his mother had a degree in Plastic Arts. He learned from master carpenters, blacksmiths, woodworkers, painters, architects, designers, and was able to collaborate with them in design and production. He received a degree in Architecture and then worked for a few local companies in Mexico making furniture. He then was invited to collaborate in studies of architectural design in the United States as a Project Manager for 7 years and had a chance to work with clients from all over the world. In 2004 he created a studio and a factory in Tijuana to design and produce high-end custom furniture, garage doors, and entrance doors for residential and business properties in southern California.

Maria works directly under the controller regarding Mexican accounting and is in charge of accounts payable. She has been working at Casillas, Inc. since 2006 and has been working in the accounting field since 2002.

Marisol is manager of the customer service team, which helps customers get daily updates on their orders and helps insure projects are completed on time. She has been in the customer service field since 2004, joining Casillas, Inc. in 2006. She enjoys working in the custom furniture industry because it’s great to see the hotels and restaurants once the projects are finished and she learns new things everyday.

Miguel was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. His early years were spent working for his dad in his accounting firm, and he went on to get a degree in Accounting. That led him to work for KPMG from 2000 to 2001, where he was in the assurance practice and audited companies such as Hasbro de Mexico, Samsung de Mexico, Easton de Mexico, Cannon de Mexico and a large corporate group of hotels called Grupo Sidek Situr in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. After KPMG, he went to work for a Korean company and started to get involved in logistics, then went on to work for TMBC, a bi-national trucking company. Miguel joined the Casillas, Inc. Logistics department in 2007.

Noel is part of the Customer Service team. He coordinate’s all the finishes and fabric requirements for the designer’s orders. He has been working in customer service for over 6 years and has a degree in International Business Administration.

Rocio leads the Import/Export department, which controls the inventory of raw material, plus handles all the invoices and paperwork needed for the importing/exporting of materials and finished goods. She also supervises both the US and Mexico warehouses. She entered the furniture industry in 2005, joined Casillas, Inc. in 2007 and has a degree in Foreign Trade and Customs.

Michael started in the furniture industry working for his father’s factory, David Julian Designs. He worked in every aspect of the factory, from the milling department to upholstery and finishing. After leaving DJD, he worked in management for Parkview Furniture, Beverly Furniture, Designer Imports and Royal Custom Designs. He then started Casillas, Inc. in 2002 with Jorge Casillas and took over the company in 2006. He lives in Mexico full-time and loves it very much. He’s also a retired Scout Master, Wood Badge Graduate, the father of an Eagle Scout, enjoys scuba diving and is currently a Dive Master.
